SegMetrics has a clear audience: course creators, coaches and info-product businesses whose customers move through an email list before they buy. It joins ad clicks, email activity and purchases into one ledger, then tells you what a lead from each source was worth.

People look for alternatives for three reasons I hear again and again. The interface feels dated, the setup asks you to understand your data well, and a few users describe billing that continued after they cancelled.

In this guide, I'll cover six alternatives and be clear about which part of SegMetrics each one replaces.

Editor's note

How I judged these

SegMetrics' value sits in its integrations, so I started by mapping what it connects to and asked the same of every alternative. I ran AnyTrack on its free plan and Attribution App and ThoughtMetric on their trials. Hyros and Wicked Reports sell through calls and demos, so those sections draw on walkthroughs, documentation and marketers I know who run them.

The brands and agencies we work with include funnel businesses as well as lead gen and SaaS, which shaped the picks. Quotes are copied from Capterra and G2. I checked:

  • Whether it can value a lead by what that person later spent
  • Which email, checkout and payment tools it connects to
  • How it handles long gaps between opt-in and purchase
  • Whether sales data goes back to Meta and Google

SourceLoop is our product. I put it through the same questions, and its section is upfront that it doesn't read email engagement the way SegMetrics does.

Last checked November 2026. Confirm current pricing with each vendor.

What SegMetrics does, and where it frustrates people

SegMetrics homepage
SegMetrics homepage.

SegMetrics connects to a long list of email platforms (ActiveCampaign, Keap, Kit, Klaviyo and more), course and checkout tools (Kajabi, Teachable, ThriveCart, SamCart, ClickFunnels), payment processors and ad networks. Its pricing page lists Launch at $57/mo, Grow at $197/mo and Scale at $397/mo, priced by active contacts, with a 14-day trial.

Users value the lead-level clarity:

"Segmetrics helps provide a much clearer picture on which ad platforms are actually making sales. It's allowed me to see which leads are the most profitable and have the highest LTV." (Source)

The complaints center on the interface, setup and, in a few cases, billing:

"I think that the User Interface could look better." (Source)
"You can build what ever you want from a modeling and reporting perspective which allows for tremendous flexibility but it requires a real understanding of the data." (Source)
"Not much, it helped our ad tracking however it was expensive and convoluted." (Source)

The 6 best SegMetrics alternatives

They're ordered by how much of the SegMetrics job each one covers for a typical funnel business, with SourceLoop first for teams whose sales happen after a call or in a CRM.

1. SourceLoop

Best for: lead generation businesses, SaaS teams and agencies that want each lead's source tied to what that customer eventually paid.

SourceLoop Lifetime value report with cohort grid of cumulative revenue by month of first payment
Lifetime value by month of first payment.

SourceLoop is lead source tracking software that follows each person from the first ad click to the form, call or booking, then on to the deal or payment. Lifetime value is reported by the channel and campaign that brought each customer in.

The big difference from SegMetrics is email. SourceLoop captures forms on your site, including Kit and Klaviyo forms, but it doesn't pull open and click data from your ESP. Where it goes further is calls, CRM deals and lead quality.

Key features

  • Lead value by source: revenue from Stripe, Paddle, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Dodo or CRM deals is tied back to each lead's first and last touch.
SourceLoop Traffic and Revenue report with conversions and revenue by channel, last touch and first touch side by side
Leads and revenue by channel under two models.
  • The journey behind each lead: every visit, ad click and landing page before they opted in, even weeks earlier.
SourceLoop contact drawer with first-touch and last-touch attribution and the visit-by-visit journey
Everything one lead did before converting.
  • Calls and bookings counted: calls from CallRail, CallTrackingMetrics, Invoca or Mediahawk, and bookings from Calendly and similar tools, carry their source.
  • Subscriptions and MRR by channel: trials, MRR, churn and renewals credited to the campaign that acquired each customer.
SourceLoop Subscriptions report with MRR, new MRR, churn and MRR by channel
Recurring revenue split by the channel that brought each subscriber.
  • Lead quality rules: mark leads Good, Not a fit or Spam, so cost per lead reflects real prospects, not freebie hunters.
SourceLoop lead quality rule builder marking leads as Good based on conditions
A rule that separates buyers from freebie opt-ins.
  • Sales back to ad platforms: good leads, won deals or payments go to Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads and ChatGPT Ads with their value.
SourceLoop conversion sync builder sending won deals to Google Ads with a value
Payments and their value sent back to Google Ads.
  • Seven attribution models: first and last touch, first and last non-direct, linear, U-shaped and time decay, which covers the first-touch view most SegMetrics users relied on.
SourceLoop report with the attribution model picker open showing seven models
First touch, last touch and five models in between.
  • Custom reports: a launch or monthly revenue report built once, shared as a live link or exported.
SourceLoop custom report with key metrics and a visitors-over-time chart
A live launch report that updates itself.
  • Alerts and white label: Slack or email alerts on new buyers or high-value leads, plus white label and multiple websites for agencies.

Where it falls short

  • It doesn't connect to ESPs for email engagement, or to course platforms like Kajabi and Teachable, so email-only funnels lose part of the picture.
  • There's no checkout integration for ThriveCart, SamCart or ClickFunnels. Sales come from payment providers, the CRM or the tracking script.

Pricing

  • Essential: $49/mo for one site and 30,000 page views, with tracking, attribution reports, lead quality rules and alerts
  • Professional: $99/mo for 100,000 page views and unlimited users, adding CRM sync, conversion sync to the ad platforms, the API and MCP
  • Agency: $249/mo for three sites and 1.5 million page views, adding white label reporting
  • Unlimited conversions on every plan, with a 7-day trial. Priced by page views, not contacts.

Verdict: a good replacement when your leads close through calls, a CRM or subscriptions. If your whole business runs through an email list and a course platform, SegMetrics or Wicked Reports read more of it.

2. Hyros

Best for: coaching, info-product and high-ticket businesses that sell through funnels and sales calls.

Hyros homepage
Hyros homepage.

Hyros tracks ad clicks through opt-ins, booked calls and final sales, then sends that sales data back to the ad platforms. It's the name SegMetrics users mention most when comparing.

The pitch on the demo call is built around long windows and optimizing ads on buyers, not opt-ins. That's the right problem for a coaching offer where a webinar sign-up turns into a phone sale weeks later.

What makes me cautious is the public record. G2 has only two reviews, both critical of setup and promises, and pricing is only shared on a call.

So treat it like any high-commitment purchase. Ask for two references with a funnel like yours, and get the onboarding scope in writing.

Key features

  • Ad clicks are followed through opt-ins, booked calls and final sales, even when the purchase comes weeks after the first visit.
  • Sales data is sent back to Meta, Google and other platforms, so campaigns optimize toward buyers rather than cheap leads.
  • Long attribution windows suit high-ticket offers, where a prospect may watch several videos before booking a call.
  • AI reports surface the ads and funnels that produce revenue, which helps media buyers cut spend faster.

Where it falls short

  • There's no published pricing or trial, so you commit before seeing your own funnel in it.
  • Very few public reviews exist, which makes long-term reliability hard to judge from the outside.
  • Setup reportedly takes real effort, and both public G2 reviews describe it as the hardest part.

What users say

"They over promise and under deliver." (Source)
"They make set-up super difficult." (Source)

3. Wicked Reports

Best for: businesses with repeat purchases or long gaps between opt-in and sale that judge ads on lifetime value.

Wicked Reports homepage
Wicked Reports homepage.

Wicked Reports is the closest like-for-like option to SegMetrics. It connects ad spend, email and CRM data to customer lifetime value, using lookback and lookforward windows far longer than the ad platforms allow.

In the walkthrough, the strongest idea was crediting a cold ad for the second and third purchases, not just the first. Funnel businesses that sell a low-ticket offer first and a higher-ticket program later tend to undervalue prospecting, and Wicked shows why.

The trade-offs teams describe are the price and the interface. It starts at $499 a month, and several users say reports can be slow and clunky.

Key features

  • Lifetime lookback and lookforward windows credit ads for sales that happen months after opt-in, which suits ascension funnels.
  • Cohort and LTV reports show which campaigns bring customers who keep buying, not only the cheapest first orders.
  • FunnelVision separates prospecting, retargeting and retention, so cold traffic is judged on the role it actually plays.
  • Meta conversion API signals and AI recommendations come on the Maximize plan or as add-ons.

Where it falls short

  • It costs well over twice SegMetrics' recommended Grow plan, which is hard to justify for smaller course businesses.
  • There's no self-serve trial, so you evaluate it through demos and a guarantee rather than your own data.
  • Users describe slow data processing and a clunky interface at times, which hurts daily use.

What users say

"We also have a longer sales cycle so we can track our users longer than the ad platforms can." (Source)
"Occasionally, we have issues having our data processed in a timely fashion." (Source)

Pricing

  • Measure: $499/mo for businesses up to $2.5M in annual revenue
  • Scale and Maximize: $699 and $999/mo
  • Enterprise: from $4,999

4. AnyTrack

Best for: affiliates and small funnel businesses that mainly want sales synced back to ad platforms on a budget.

AnyTrack homepage
AnyTrack homepage.

AnyTrack collects conversions from checkouts, affiliate networks and forms, then sends them to Meta, Google and other ad platforms through their conversion APIs.

I set it up on the free plan. Connecting a checkout source and Meta's conversion API was quick, and the free tier is generous enough to test properly before paying.

It replaces a different part of SegMetrics. You get the "feed sales back to the ads" job, but not lead value or LTV reporting, and it doesn't read your email platform at all.

Key features

  • Conversions from checkouts, affiliate networks and forms are sent to seven ad platforms through their conversion APIs.
  • A free plan covers 5,000 sessions on one site, which is enough to test the full setup before paying.
  • Higher plans add multiple pixels, ad accounts and websites for marketers running several funnels.
  • Webhooks and custom integrations connect checkout tools that aren't on the standard list.

Where it falls short

  • It doesn't report lead value or lifetime value, which is the main reason most people bought SegMetrics.
  • Email platform data isn't read at all, so list growth and email-driven sales aren't connected to source.
  • Recent public reviews are scarce, so most of what you'll learn comes from testing it yourself.

What users say

"It seems to cater to affiliate marketers. It is a good alternative to many of the much more expensive attribution platforms in the market." (Source)
"the pricing plans are based on pixels." (Source)

Pricing

  • Free: $0 for 5,000 sessions a month
  • Starter and Personal: $100 and $150/mo
  • Advance: $300/mo for 3 million sessions and 10 sites, with a 14-day trial

5. Attribution App

Best for: subscription and SaaS businesses that want click-level, auditable attribution.

Attribution App homepage
Attribution App homepage.

Attribution App is deterministic. It reads revenue from Stripe, HubSpot or Salesforce, imports ad costs down to the ad, and lets you click from a channel through to the people who paid.

On the trial, I liked being able to defend every number by naming the customers behind it. For a membership business on Stripe, that gives a clean view of which ads bring paying members.

What it doesn't do is follow email. A lead who opts in, reads a sequence and buys three weeks later is credited by clicks only, so the email part of the funnel is invisible. There's also no call tracking.

Key features

  • Attribution is deterministic and click-based, with configurable models and lookback windows you can explain line by line.
  • Revenue comes from Stripe, HubSpot or Salesforce, so subscription and deal value show up per channel.
  • Ad costs are imported down to individual ads, giving ROAS and payback at the level media buyers work.
  • Media mix modeling, incrementality testing and an MCP server sit alongside the click-based reports.

Where it falls short

  • Email engagement isn't part of the model, so list-driven funnels lose the step between opt-in and sale.
  • There's no call tracking, which matters for coaching and high-ticket offers that close by phone.
  • History starts at install, so you can't compare against months before you switched.

What users say

"Like many marketers, I was told that GA4 would solve my attribution problems. Not so, hence the need for a standalone solution like Attribution App." (Source)
"it's tough to get retroactive data, so historical attribution prior to standing up attribution was tough" (Source)

Pricing

  • Pro: $399/mo ($335 billed yearly) for up to 10,000 monthly tracked users, with a 14-day trial

6. ThoughtMetric

Best for: small online stores and digital product sellers that want simple attribution at a low price.

ThoughtMetric homepage
ThoughtMetric homepage.

ThoughtMetric is a lightweight multi-touch attribution tool for Shopify, WooCommerce and other stores, with post-purchase surveys and an MCP connector.

When I ran the trial, setup was a script, a store connection and the ad accounts, and the reports were readable straight away. The "How did you hear about us?" survey is a nice touch for podcast and influencer traffic.

It only fits SegMetrics users who sell through a store checkout. There's no email platform connection, and LTV reporting is light.

Key features

  • Multi-touch attribution covers the major ad channels on Shopify, WooCommerce and most other store platforms.
  • Post-purchase surveys add self-reported answers, which helps credit podcasts and influencers that rarely produce clicks.
  • An MCP connector brings attribution into Claude and ChatGPT, so you can ask about performance in plain language.
  • Every plan includes every feature and is priced only by pageviews, which keeps costs simple.

Where it falls short

  • It doesn't connect to email or course platforms, so it only fits sellers whose revenue happens at a store checkout.
  • LTV and cohort reporting are light, which is a step down for anyone used to SegMetrics' lead value reports.
  • Custom dashboards are limited, so there are fewer ways to slice results by funnel or offer.

What users say

"Setup was fast, the reports are snappy, and the UI is clean and easy to use." (Source)
"I would love more insights like ROAS, LTV, Fastest moving items, usually bought together insights, etc... which would allow us to create even better strategies" (Source)
